Day exploring Delhi before catching night bus to Manali. This is an 18 hour journey.

Arrive in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. Rest after journey and explore Manali.
5 April 2015
Acclimatisation in Manali. Explore the temples and old Manali. Hike around the area. Buy food and materials for the project phase.
6 April 2015
Transfer to project – Dhoba Village near Manali. Meet project hosts and members of the local community. The local school has 31 students and time will be spent getting to know the children. Discussions with our hosts about the project – construction of water tank.

Farwell to our hosts and to the community. Transfer to our trek start point at Narkanda (2708m). Trek from Narkanda to Hatu Peak (3350m). Explore the Hatu Mata temple at the summit. Overnight in the Agyaat Vaas hotel at the base of Hatu Peak.

Transfer to Shimla. Explore Shimla.

Board the UNESCO World Heritage toy train to Kalka. Change here for return train to Delhi. Check back in to Hotel Gautum Deluxe in Delhi.

Dawn visit to the Taj Mahal. Explore Agra.

Return to Delhi. Final day exploring before final evening meal in India.
